Property offence and weapons arrest, Springfield Lakes

Police have charged a 36-year-old Springfield Lakes woman following investigations into alleged offences at a Springfield Lakes address.

Police were called to a Springfield Lakes address at 1.50pm in response to reports of a man who may have been armed.

A thorough search was conducted of the area locating the 36-year-old woman, however, the man was not located at that time.

The 36-year-old was charged with enter dwelling with intent, dangerous conduct with a weapon, stealing, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of a weapon (flick knife). She is due to appear in Ipswich Magistrates Court later today.

Investigations remain ongoing and police are making inquiries to locate a man who may be able to assist with inquiries in relation to the same matter.
