Detectives from Carseldine Criminal Investigation Branch have charged a 24-year-old Burpengary man following investigations into several property offences across the Brisbane and Moreton areas over the past month.
It will be alleged between 15 December 2025 to 14 January 2026, the man committed several unlawful use of motor vehicle (UUMV) offences across numerous locations including Main Beach in Pinkenba, Bridges Road in Morayfield, Cornucopia Street in Manly West, and Newmarket Road in Wilston.
Following investigations into these matters, officers today attended a Dawson Road, Upper Mount Gravatt address and engaged two men inside the property.
The men initially refused to cooperate with police, however, were able to be taken into custody by specialist police after several hours.
The 24-year-old Burpengary man has been charged with five counts of trespass, two counts each of deprivation of liberty, unlawful use of motor vehicle, possession of dangerous drugs, possess utensils, and possession of breaking implement, one count each of threats, enter dwelling and commit, serious obstruct, stealing, dangerous operation of a vehicle, and unlawful entry of motor vehicle.
The 29-year-old Manly man has been charged with one count each of deprivation of liberty, serious obstruct, threats and possess dangerous drug.
Both men are due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow, 16 January.
