Property Offences Arrest At Scarborough

Police have arrested a juvenile in relation to the entry of a house and a stolen vehicle in Scarborough this morning, 6 June.

About 9am it is alleged the juvenile entered a property in Alexandra Street and stole property before fleeing.

A short time later, police were called to a nearby James Street address following reports a girl had allegedly stolen a silver Nissan Dualis as the owner was getting out of the vehicle in her driveway.

The vehicle was located by police just after 10am in Commander Street Deception Bay, and a 16-year-old Scarborough girl was arrested at the scene.

The juvenile was charged with one count each of enter dwelling and commit, unlawful use of motor vehicle, possess utensils or pipe that had been used and unlawful possession of suspected stolen property. She has been held in custody and is expected to appear in the Redcliffe Childrens Court on 8 June.
