Police have charged a 43-year-old man following multiple break and enter offences across the Darling Downs over the past five weeks.
The offences have occurred at service stations, a grocery store, a takeaway business, a real estate agent and car and truck dealerships between 14 June to 21 July in Wilsonton, Withcott, Jondaryan, Harristown and South Toowoomba.
It is alleged during each incident entry the offender forced entry into each business stole various property including cash, credit cards, electronic devices, laptop, groceries and cigarettes.
In one of the incidents on 29 June, it is alleged an ATM was stolen from a service station at Duke Street in Jondaryan.
Around 1.40am on 21 July it is alleged the man broke into a takeaway store on Boundary Road at Wilsonton and was attempting to leave the scene when he was arrested by police and taken into custody.
A 43-year-old Oakey man has been charged with eight counts of enter premises with intent to commit, two counts of wilful damage and attempted fraud and one count each of attempted enter premises with intent to commit, possess by night instrument of house breaking, possess dangerous drugs, unlawful possession of suspected stolen property and fraud.
He has been released on bail and is due to appear in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court on 19 August.
