The consultation was opened for a 4-week period and received 21 responses.
There were no comments objecting to the amendments although some comments were made about the broader flight crew licensing scheme or on other topics out of scope of the consultation.

Next steps
We will:
- progress work to further align the validity periods of flight reviews for operational ratings and type and class ratings, and to extend the validity period of the low-level rating flight review to the end of the 24th month, rather than to the day of the review. We will consult on any proposed changes through our Consultation Hub.
- complete our work to develop guidance material and supporting documentation
- progress the regulatory package to government for making.
