Proposal to Lease Land
Pursuant to section 115 of the Local Government Act 2020, Casey City Council is proposing to enter into a lease with AusNet Electricity Services Pty Ltd (ACN 064 651 118), for part of land contained in Certificate of Title Volume 10754 Folio 906, known as Reserve 3 on PS508504Q, located at O'Shea Road, Berwick and known as Ausnet Kiosk (the Proposal). The subject land is shown on the plan below.
The principal terms of the proposed lease will be:
- Lease commencement at the date Council grants the lease
- Lease term being thirty (30) years
- Rental of $1 per annum plus GST on demand
- Permitted use is for the purposes of installation, operation and maintenance of electrical substation for the distribution or supply of electricity.
