A protective service officer from the Transit and Public Safety Command has been charged following an internal investigation.
The 69-year-old male officer was charged with two counts of unlawful assault.
The charges relate to an alleged incident in Heidelberg on 30 November 2020 while the officer was on-duty.
He has been bailed to face court at a later date.
