The Queensland Police Service, Protective Services are providing a security overlay at hotels accommodating travellers to protect the public against COVID-19.
The team are assisting police at a number of hotels throughout Brisbane to provide additional resources to help stop the spread of COVID-19.
While it may not be an ideal situation for those in mandatory quarantine after traveling, the cooperation from the residents has been appreciated by the Protective Services team.
During this unprecedented time, Protective Services have been taking on additional roles to assist police at various locations throughout the state and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.
