February marks Proud Cricket month in which Cricket Victoria celebrates LGBTIQ+ inclusion and diversity in cricket.
Across the month we're hoping to raise the profile of LGBTIQ+ inclusion and showing that cricket is a sport for all Australians.
Proud Cricket is all about improving equity, diversity and inclusiveness by supporting clubs with education sessions that support more inclusive club practices and improve club culture. In addition, the program provides participants with the skills, tools and resources to further increase inclusion of the LGBTIQ+ community in their club or association.
On 8 February 2021, we will be hosting a Proud Cricket Webinar. This online webinar will provide you with the basic knowledge about the communities, tips and advise on things your club can do and a starter pack of inclusive items to achieve your aims.

We will also be discussing how your club can be a Proud Cricket club, and how to take the steps on hosting programs that are inclusive and welcoming to LGBTIQ+ communities.
