A police operation is currently underway in the Holland Park West area following reports a man had sustained a suspected gunshot wound, Queensland Police say.
Police declared an emergent situation under the Public Safety Preservation Act at 10.10pm with the boundaries of the declaration covering Logan Road and Barton Road, down to Castle Hill Street, to Hocking Street, to Marvin Street, to Nursery Road and back to Logan Road.
Preliminary information indicates police were called to Logan Road, Holland Park West around 9.50pm following reports of a man having been shot.
This man, who was located in a vehicle parked in the street, is currently receiving treatment.
A number of police resources are in the vicinity with police asking the public to avoid the area.
