Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) due to an ongoing incident at Ormeau.
A search is presently underway for a man in relation to a domestic violence matter.
Police were called to a Gannon Way address at Upper Coomera overnight following a disturbance.
The man involved left the scene.
No one was physically harmed at the address.
Boundaries are in place north from Mirambeena Drive into Wharf Rd intersection with Pimpama Jacobs Well Rd, east from Pimpama Jacobs Well Road to Hotham Creek, south from creek line of Hotham Creek to Creek Street and west from Creek Street to Mirambeena Drive.
Members of the public are advised to avoid the area.
