Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety and Preservation Act in relation to fires in the Finch Hatton area, Queensland Police say.
A declaration was made around 3.40 pm and in encompasses the boundaries of Cattle Creek to the north; Debonis Road to the west; Seninis Road to the East and the Dalrymple Range to the South.
Police are asking people within that area to immediately attend the Finch Hatton Show Grounds and register your address with Police.
