PSPA Emergency Declaration Declaration At Mount Perry

Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) at Mount Perry, in relation to a police incident early this morning, May 18.

Emergency services were called around 3.41am to a Shand Street address in relation to a man making threats.

An exclusion zone has been established while police respond, encompassing Shand Street, Hunter Street and Mason Street.

Residents within the exclusion zone are asked to stay indoors and members of the public are asked to avoid the area, to allow police operations to continue safely.
