Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) following a traffic crash on the Bruce Highway in Glenorchy this morning, 29 August.
Around 2am, police and emergency services were called to the Bruce Highway following reports of a fuel tanker and B Double on fire.
The PSPA was declared at 2.22am with the exclusion zone of 3kms.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area and drive with care.
