PSPA Emergency Declaration Declared At Kingston

Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) due to a building fire at Kingston this afternoon, 27 May.

Around 1.10pm, police were called following reports of a business fully engulfed on Queens Road.

An exclusion zone has been established while emergency services respond, encompassing Queens Road from Meakin Road to Allan Street and from Plain Street across to Scrubby Creek.

Residents are urged to avoid the area.
