PSPA Emergency Declaration Declared, Camp Mountain

Police have declared an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) near Enoggera Reservoir and Camp Mountain this afternoon, 3 October.

Emergency services were called around 2pm to reports of a grass fire at Camp Mountain.

A PSPA was subsequently declared with exclusion zones including Mount Nebo Road intersection of Camp Mountain Road, west to South Boundary Road intersection, north to Betts Road, east to the intersection of Betts Road and Upper Camp Mountain Road, and southeast to the intersection of Camp Mountain Road and Mount Nebo Road.

Police are assisting residents and partner agencies in the surrounding areas

Motorists are urged to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
