PSPA Emergency Declaration Declared, Glenview

Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) as emergency services respond to an ongoing incident outside a property on Old Caloundra Road in Glenview.

A PSPA was declared at 12.55pm after a stolen vehicle crashed outside the address before the occupants, one believed to be armed with a firearm, fled on foot and are believed to be hiding in the area.

The boundaries encompass the Bruce Highway interchange with Caloundra Road east, and Racecourse Road south to the intersection with Fred Chaplin Circuit.

Residents in the area are urged to remain indoors and the public are advised to avoid the area.

Specialist police are in attendance.
