The majority of the Broadwater Tourist Park is now accessible to the public however access restrictions to the impacted Marine Parade building are anticipated to remain until midday tomorrow.

Earlier: Police have made an emergency declaration under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) in Southport.
Emergency services were called to Gold Coast Highway around 3.15pm following reports of multiple power lines and a crane being damaged.
A PSPA was declared around 3.45pm with the exclusion zone encompassing an area from Gold Coast Highway, North Street, Loders Creek and to the Broadwater.
Member of the public are advised to avoid the area and residents within the exclusion zone are to stay indoors unless advised by police.
