PSPA revoked, Edmonton

Police have revoked an emergency declaration after a man surrendered without incident in Far North Queensland.

Officers were called to reports of an armed man at a residence in Hyacinth Close, Edmonton around 6am.

The 42-year-old man left the address and was taken into custody around 1.13pm.

The PSPA declared at 8.54am was revoked at 1.21pm.

Police would like to thank the community for their cooperation.
