PSQ State Titles pushes on this weekend

Pistol Shooting Queensland will hold their annual state titles from the 17th-19th of September. The event had been postponed once before due to lockdown, and will go ahead this weekend with an online format being offered.

For those in Brisbane, they will be able to attend in person at the Brisbane International Shooting Centre, however PSQ have worked tirelessly with venues in other states to ensure as many athletes as possible are able to compete in the event. There will be remote sites from Rochampton, Mackay, WA, and potentially also Melbourne.

The number of athletes who will be competing in the PSQ State Titles shows that the appetite for domestic competition is high, with 197 competitors amongst the 7 events who will all be competing from different locations throughout Australia.

The event has been made as inclusive as possible with the remote locations and Men, Women, Juniors, and WSPS athletes all being involved. Be sure to keep an eye on the Shooting Australia social media channels for results throughout the weekend, and best of luck to all of the athletes who will be in action.
