Public appeal: Arson, Underwood

Police have released CCTV of two men as part of the investigation into the alleged arson of an Underwood business on January 21.

Around 1.30am, two men attended the rooftop carpark of a Logan Road business where they smoked cigarettes by the entryway automatic doors.

One of the men dropped a lit cigarette into a nearby rubbish bin which ignited a fire.

The men watched the fire spread before leaving the scene in a dark blue Ford Festiva hatchback around 2.10am, making no attempt to extinguish the blaze.

The fire destroyed the bin and caused significant damage to the building's automatic doors, entryway, roof, CCTV system and motion sensors.

Police urge anyone with any information in relation to this offence or the two men depicted, to come forward.
