Public assistance required - Coolalinga unlawful entry

Police from Strike Force Trident are requesting public assistance to locate up to four people they believe were involved in an unlawful entry in Coolalinga overnight.

Detective Sergeant Andrew Bedwell said the offenders entered a business and stole a bag that contained fake cash and an anti-theft dye, Northern Territory Police say.

When the bag was opened in their vehicle the dye was released.

"The dye will be very difficult to wash off, and it is likely that the offenders still have red staining to themselves and their clothing.

"The pictures clearly show the colour of the dye and we are asking anyone who notices this colour paint on anyone or their clothes, or who has any knowledge of this unlawful entry to please contact police," Detective Sergeant Bedwell said.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Police Assistance Line on 131 444 or contact Crime Stoppers.
