Pursuit arrests in Murray Bridge, SA

Two men have been arrested following a brief pursuit in Murray Bridge this morning, according to SA Police.

Just after 1.15am, Monday 15 May, a patrol was travelling on Adelaide Road when they spotted a car travelling at speed, the patrol estimated they were traveling about 100km/h in a 50km/h zone.

Police activated emergency lights and indicated for the car to stop however it continued at speed away from them going through a red light.

The eagle eyed patrol members were able to glimpse the registration before they lost sight of the car, this led them to the registered owners home address where they located the car.

Police searched the house and located two men, one allegedly hiding in the roof space. The men, a 42-year-old and a 30-year-old, both from Murray Bridge were arrested and are expected to be charged with traffic offences. They will appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court at a later date.
