A pursuit has ended after a vehicle got stuck on railway tracks in Sydney's west.
About 10.55pm yesterday (Friday 13 June 2025), officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command attempted to stop a vehicle displaying reported stolen plates on Emert Street, Wenthworthville.
When the driver allegedly failed to stop as directed, a pursuit was initiated before the white 4WD crashed through a fence and into a rail corridor near Wentworth Avenue.
Two men were seen running from the stranded vehicle after it became stuck on railway tracks.
Alternative train services are being organised; however, delays should be expected into the early morning until the vehicle is removed.
No arrests have been made at this time and there are no reports of injuries.
