Pushbike riders sought after Punchbowl stabbing, NSW

Two pushbike riders may be able to assist with inquiries after a man was stabbed at Punchbowl this morning, NSW Police say.

About 5.10am today, tomorrow emergency services were called to a unit complex on Canterbury Road at Punchbowl.

On arriving they found a 37-year-old man with a wound to his abdomen.

He was assessed on site by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to hospital. His injuries are not considered to be life threatening.

Police are hoping to speak with two males who left the scene on pushbikes as it is believed they might be able to assist with inquiries.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
