Territorians deserve access to quality health services, andthe Cancer Care Strategy provides a clear focus on how we can build on what wehave already achieved for Territory cancer patients.

The 2018 Budget allocated $35.3 million over five years forcancer care services, and this Strategy will help us identify priority areasfor investment.

We will particularly focus on integrating cancer careservices, as we know improving links between screening, diagnostic andtreatment services is integral in providing the best care.

Cancer care services will continue to be rolled out overthe coming year, and the cyclotron will be commissioned to prepare isotopes forthe PET scanner.
