Qantas and Jetstar will add up to 27 additional flights to and from Melbourne to help Brisbane-based fans get to the game next weekend should their team win on Saturday night.
The additional capacity will be in addition to the airlines' current schedule and will go on sale shortly after the final siren on Saturday night, if their team is successful.
If Brisbane wins, between Friday 26 September and Monday 29 September:
- Qantas will add seven additional return flights between Brisbane and Melbourne and one additional flight between Melbourne and Brisbane operated by its Boeing 737 aircraft.
- Jetstar will add six additional return flights from Brisbane operated by its Airbus A320 aircraft.
In total more than 4,500 additional seats will go on sale if Brisbane wins.
As always, the cheapest seats sell the fastest, so fans are encouraged to book as early as possible.
