Queensland coronavirus update

One new case of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has been confirmed in Queensland.

A 28-year-old male is in a stable condition and is being transferred from his home in Brisbane to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

He has recently returned from Iran and contact tracing is underway.

A total of fourteen people in Queensland have been confirmed with COVID-19, including three people from the Diamond Princess cruise ship.

Queensland Health is urging anyone who has been overseas in the last 14 days and is feeling unwell to see a doctor immediately.
