Queensland exporters invited to shine

  • Applications for the 35th Premier of Queensland's Export Awards open today.
  • Winners will progress to the Australian Export Awards.
  • The awards are delivered in partnership with Austrade.

The Crisafulli Government is encouraging Queensland exporters to showcase their products and innovations as part of this year's Premier of Queensland's Export Awards.

The Premier of Queensland's Export Awards 2025 will shine a spotlight on the State's top exporting businesses, with applications for the 14 national categories and an award for Women in International Business now open.

Winners will be announced in Brisbane at an awards dinner on 10 October 2025 and will represent Queensland at the Australian Export Awards in Canberra in November.

The Crisafulli Government is delivering crucial support to Queensland's diverse range of exporters, and rebuilding trust by enhancing trade relationships that were previously strained due to Labor's mismanagement and unpredictable policy.

Minister for Finance, Trade, Employment and Training Ros Bates said the awards celebrated the passion, resilience and ingenuity of Queensland businesses succeeding on the global stage.

"The Premier of Queensland's Export Awards recognise the excellence of our exporters and inspire others to reach for international success, and we encourage our businesses to apply," Minister Bates said.

"Large or small, I urge Queensland businesses to step into the spotlight and apply for this year's Export Awards."

Previous winners, such as Dr James Fielding of Audeara, highlighted the benefits of winning an award, including increased credibility and brand exposure.

"The Export Awards have been a really valuable tool to grow our brand, get exposure, and get on the radar of companies locally and around the world," Dr. Fielding said.

Dr Tracey Seipel, CEO of Seipel Group and last year's Women in International Business winner, encouraged more women to apply.

"People see your passion, and that's what they want a piece of," she said.
