  • The Crisafulli Government's Play On! Sports Vouchers to provide cost of living relief for Queensland families, with applications open on Monday 4 August.
  • The Play On! Sports Vouchers is helping Queensland kids get active and play their favourite sport.
  • Queensland families with children aged between 5 and seventeen years can apply for vouchers valued up to $200.
  • Vouchers will be provided over two rounds for summer or winter sport.

The Crisafulli Government's new Play On! Sports Vouchers open for applications this Monday 4 August, and will provide cost of living relief for Queensland families and help kids get active and play their favourite sport.

Each voucher is valued up to $200, with every Queensland child and young person aged between five and 17 named on a Medicare card eligible to apply.

The vouchers will be available for winter or summer sport, with a dedicated allocation for children living with a disability, as well as for kids living in country Queensland.

Under the former Labor Government, funding for previous sports vouchers was only allocated for 2024-25, showing it was never part of Labor's plan to provide continued cost of living relief support for Queenslanders.

The Crisafulli Government's 2025-26 Budget is delivering $62.5 million each year for four years towards the program to help with the rising cost of living for Queensland families and get more kids active.

Minister for Sport and Racing and Minister for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tim Mander said the Play On! Sports Vouchers will be a game-changer for Queensland families.

"From the city to the country it's imperative that our kids are given every opportunity to be active and play their favourite sport," Minister Mander said.

"The $200 Play On! Sports Vouchers will help families in every corner of the state get their kids active through alleviating some of the costs of memberships, registration or participation fees.

"I'm extremely pleased that it is also targeted to assist children with disability to participate and be included."

"Every Queensland kid deserves the chance to participate, and I strongly encourage all eligible families to be ready on Monday to apply and to take advantage of this fantastic program."
