Queensland Police Pursue Leads on Coomera Pedestrian Fatality

Police are appealing for public assistance in relation to a fatal pedestrian incident at Coomera on November 3, 2023.

Investigations indicate a silver Toyota Yaris hatchback was travelling on Shipper Drive around 12.30pm when it crashed with a male pedestrian.

The 40-year-old pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital, where he died on November 6.

The 34-year-old male driver did not suffer any injuries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash.

Police are appealing for anyone with information, or who has any dashcam or CCTV that could assist with investigations, to come forward.
