Queensland Police Search for Missing Man in Barcaldine Region

Queensland Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a 21-year-old man reported missing from Barcaldine Region this afternoon, February 17.

Jack McClelland was last seen around 50 kilometres south of Barcaldine (around 8 kilometres north of Allo Omber Road), near the Landsborough Highway, around 4:30 pm yesterday and has not been seen since.

Police and family hold concern for Jack's welfare due to him having a medical condition, as well as the disappearance being considered out of character.

Jack is described as Caucasian in appearance with a proportional build and 184cm tall, brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a long-sleeved green shirt, long brown pants, and black gumboots.

Officers believe that Jack may be travelling towards Aramac but may appear disorientated and attempt to avoid interactions with nearby people.
