QUEENSLAND STAGE STAR KIRBY LUNN RETURNS FOR "HIT ME BRITNEY ONE MORE TIME" – Brisbane, Bundaberg and Gold Coast
Grammy Award winner Britney Spears is undoubtedly one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with over 100 million albums sold worldwide. To celebrate Britney's unmatched two-decade-long career, international singing sensation and Queensland's own stage superstar Kirby Lunn returns to Australia to give a high-octane tribute to the indisputable Princess of Pop! HIT ME BRITNEY ONE MORE TIME will take over the Grand Ballroom stage at Eatons Hill Hotel THIS Saturday 6th November 2021, with incredible costumes and a chorus of knock-out back-up dancers. It's the very best of Britney in a full-scale production – and about time!!
Then, the show hits the road – performing in Bundaberg on November 12, and then at The Star Gold Coast on December 17.
Queensland's Kirby Lunn has recently returned to Australia after many years performing in New York. A career high was joining the cast of Kinky Boots (North American Touring Company) under the original direction of Jerry Mitchell. Kirby also starred as Elle Wood in "Legally Blonde" and Amber Von Tussle in "Hairspray". She made her professional debut in Australia at the age of 18 in the musical EuroBeat- Almost Eurovision and then quickly went on to be cast in the original Australian productions of Hairspray and Rolling Thunder Vietnam. Always learning, Kirby studied Shakespeare at RADA, as well as full time study at the American Music and Dramatic Academy in NYC. A fan of strong stage women, she recently premiered her own one-woman tribute to Marilyn Monroe, and has more works in the pipeline.
Britney Spears' music defined a generation, with hit after hit screaming to the top of the charts and lighting up dance floors across the globe.
