Quick-thinking neighbours assist in Prospect arrest , SA

A man has been arrested after he allegedly tried to break in to a house in Prospect yesterday, according to SA Police.

About 3.40pm, police were called to a house after neighbours had heard an audible alarm at the property in Devonport Terrace.

A quick-thinking witness took a photo of the suspect before he ran away. The photo was shown to the patrols who identified the suspect.

A 46-year-old Bowden man was charged with attempted serious criminal trespass and unlawful possession. He was refused bail and will appear in court today.
