Arts projects will be able to flourish across Townsville with the support of the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF).
Townsville City Council partners with Arts Queensland to deliver RADF grants, which support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
Acting Mayor Ann-Maree Greaney said the funding applications for RADF Round 2 were reviewed by a panel to ensure maximum return on investment for the Townsville community.
"There have been some very strong applications during this funding round, with seven applicants being recommended for funding," Cr Greaney said.
"The successful artists and arts groups have shown a strong drive to deliver their projects and have demonstrated how they will positively impact our city.
"There will be exhibitions, arts experiences, innovative music projects and youth programs for the community to enjoy thanks to this round of funding, strengthening our city's connection with arts and culture."
