Ram raid in Carlton

Police are appealing for witnesses following a ram raid in Carlton on December 2, Victoria Police say.

It is believed two males drove a Mazda sedan through the front door of a clothing store on Elgin Street around 4am.

The passenger got out of the car and ran inside.

Police believe he removed the cash till, containing a small amount of cash, and placed it in the car.

The man also stole shirts and suits from the store.

Both men then took off in the car, heading east on Elgin Street.

No arrests have been made at this stage.

Police released CCTV footage of the incident in the hope it will help with their investigations.
