Rape charges, Albany Creek

Police have charged a man in relation to numerous alleged rape and assault offences committed at an Albany Creek residence last year, Queensland Police say.

It will be alleged the 21-year-old Algester man was employed as a carer at the residence where he repeatedly assaulted a 27-year-old woman between July and August, 2016.

The man was taken into custody yesterday and charged with 21 counts of rape and eight counts of assault occasioning bodily harm.

He is scheduled to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court this morning.
