Raptor Squad officers have charged a man with conspiracy to murder after shots were fired at a Concord home earlier this year.
About 1.10am on Thursday 3 July 2025, emergency services were called to Davidson Avenue in Concord after reports shots were fired.
There was no one home at the time of the incident and there were no reports of injuries.
A short time later, emergency services were called to Stuart Street in Burwood following reports of a car alight.
Fire and Rescue NSW attended and extinguished the blaze; however, the vehicle was destroyed.
Officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command established crime scenes at both locations which were treated as linked, before the matter was referred to State Crime Command's Raptor Squad under Strike Force Keysbrook.
Following extensive inquiries, including a public appeal for information, about 7.50am yesterday (Wednesday 8 October 2025), strike force detectives executed a search warrant in Mascot.
At the address, police arrested a 27-year-old man.
During a subsequent search warrant in Granville, police located and seized five electronic devices, a taser and balaclavas.
The man was taken to Surry Hills Police Station, where he was charged with conspire and agree to murder any person, participate in a criminal group, and two counts of possess prohibited drug.
He was refused bail to appear in Bail Division Local Court 7 today (Thursday 9 October 2025).
