Re-issue of product recall: Christmas Wreath Candle Holder
To include additional articles sold since September 2017
BIG W takes our customers and their families' safety very seriously and we are re-issuing the Christmas Wreath Candle Holder recall to include the 2017 range (not included in the 8 November recall).
2017 season Christmas Wreath Candle Holder, on sale from 21 September 2017:
White and Green (article number 609304)
Red and Green (article number 609303)
2018 season Christmas Wreath Candle Holder, on sale from 18 September 2018 already recalled on 8 November 2018:
Pink and Gold (article number 689023)
Green and Silver (article number 689054)

DEFECT: The wreath surrounding the candle holder could catch fire and remain alight longer than permitted by the Consumer Protection Notice No.12 of 2011 - Permanent ban on combustible candle holders.
HAZARD: Potential burns or fire causing property damage, serious injury or death could occur.
ACTION REQUIRED: Customers who purchased this product sold in BIG W stores nationally and online from 21 September 2017 to 7 November 2018 should immediately cease using the product and return it to any BIG W store for a full refund. No proof of purchase is required.
BIG W apologises to its customers for any inconvenience caused by this recall.
