National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan met with João Gomes Cravinho, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Portugal. They discussed the importance of continued security and economic assistance to Ukraine and the need to hold Russia accountable for its aggression. They reaffirmed the importance of multilateral cooperation to promote a peaceful, prosperous, open, and cooperative Atlantic region. They also discussed the need for continued coordination on regional and global challenges, including in Africa and Latin America.
