Vice President Harris spoke today with His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa of Bahrain. The Vice President thanked the Crown Prince for Bahrain's vital support to save thousands of lives, including Americans and vulnerable Afghans, as part of U.S. evacuation efforts from Afghanistan. The Vice President expressed her deep commitment to continuing the close partnership between the two countries.
