Reappeal for information for missing man at Brooklyn

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney's north.

Stephen South, aged 52, was last seen about 8.30am on Saturday May 8, at his workplace on Kowan Road, Mooney Mooney.

Officers from Kuring-Gai Police Area Command were notified of his disappearance after he failed to return home after going out on his ocean ski on the Hawkesbury.

The blue and red ski he was using was recovered from Long Island later on Saturday.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare as his disappearance is out of character.
