Reappointments To Administrative Review Tribunal 5 December

The Albanese Government has reappointed 11 General Members to the Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) for a further 3-year term. Originally appointed in 2023, the reappointed Members have worked on a range of cases including social security, National Disability Insurance Scheme, and migration and protection matters.

These vital reappointments will help ensure all cases continue to be heard fairly, effectively and efficiently while also ensuring the ART's work remains accessible and responsive to the diverse needs of all parties.

Each General Member was reappointed in accordance with section 208 of the Administrative Review Tribunal Act 2024 , and was originally assessed as suitable for appointment in accordance with the Guidelines for Appointments to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and closely informed by requirements in the Administrative Review Tribunal Act 2024 .
