Saturday 6 July, 2019: Woolworths is recalling the following product: Votive Candle with Christmas Berries (629299). These products were sold in Woolworths stores nationally from October 2017 until December 2017.
Woolworths is recalling these products due to the potential for the wreath surrounding the candle holder to potentially catch fire and remain alight longer than permitted by the Consumer Protection Notice No.12 of 2011 -Permanent ban on combustible candle holders.
Consumers should immediately cease using the product and return it to their nearest Woolworths Supermarket or Metro store for a full refund.
Customers should note that this recall applies to the above product sold in Woolworths Supermarkets or Metro stores between October 2017 and December 2017. No other products are affected by this recall.
