The important contribution of women to their workplaces and the industry are celebrated through the Victorian Women in Resources Awards.
Last night Minister for Resources Jaclyn Symes presented the 2021 Victorian Women in Resources Awards during a virtual event organised by the Minerals Council of Australia with the support of the AusIMM Women in Mining Network.
The 2021 Victorian Women in Resources Award winners are:
- Exceptional Woman in Resources: Laura Chibnall, Director and Principal Consultant - Ensolve
- Exceptional Young Woman in Victorian Resources: Yan Lim, Health Safety Environment and Community Advisor – Stawell Gold Mines
- Outstanding Trade Operator or Technician: Elisabeth Viklund, Underground Operator – Mandalay Resources
- Gender Diversity Champion: Nikki Hartrey, Human Resources Manager –Fosterville Gold Mine
