The 146th State Urban Firefighter Championships were held in Bendigo at the weekend, with a number of records falling.

A 43 year old benchmark was broken in the Champion Fours event, with Kangaroo Flat finishing in 15.90 seconds.

It was not enough to take out overall honours however, with Dandenong finishing first on 85 points.

The Victoria / Western Australia Challenge took place after the final event, the Champion Fours, and was won by the W.A. team in a time of 27.49 seconds.
