Regional youth leadership program launches

Young people across the Barwon region looking to enhance their leadership skills and influence decision-making on important local youth matters are encouraged to apply to be part of a new program.

Regional Youth Voice will welcome 12 local young people who will receive leadership training and networking opportunities with their peers.

A partnership between City of Greater Geelong, Surf Coast Shire, Golden Plains Shire and Colac Otway Shire local governments, the free initiative is for people aged between 15 to 20 years.

Successful applicants will join forces for five meetings, scheduled between June and December 2020.
