Winners and outstanding performers will be invited to represent Australia at the World Championship
Australian Pencak Silat Titles to be held on 11th November 2023
After a four year break due to Covid-19, the 9th Australian Pencak Silat Championship will return this year, to be held at Collingwood Town Hall, Melbourne VIC on 11th November 2023. Registrations are closing soon, with the deadline of 30th July 2023 fast approaching for athletes to submit their entry to compete in this years one and only national competition.
Lee Edmondson of Pencak Silat Australia, an organisation that aims to create awareness and increase the competitiveness of Pencak Silat, is excited to see the return of the National Pencak Silat Titles.
"Athletes from all around Australia will soon put their skills to the test and compete to be crowned the best Pencak Silat Martial Artist in Australia. Winners and outstanding performers will also be invited to represent Australia at the next Pencak Silat World Championship, an event held every two years in a different South-East Asian country."
Pencak Silat Australia is currently taking expressions of interest from athletes looking to compete in this upcoming event.
