Renewed appeal as investigations continue into serious assault of teenage girls - Pyrmont

Police have released CCTV images as they continue to investigate the serious assault of three teenage girls in the CBD last week.

About 9.40pm on Saturday (6 March 2021), emergency services were called to Pirrama Park, Pyrmont, after reports a group of people were fighting.

Police have been told a group of people were involved in a verbal argument, before three females – aged 16, 16 and 15 - were repeatedly assaulted.

Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command, with assistance from the Public Order and Riot Squad, attended and arrested three men – aged 29, 23 and 21 – a short time later on Pirrama Road near Murray Street.

They were taken to Day Street Police Station, where the older two men were charged with affray and two counts of common assault. The younger man was charged with affray and common assault.

They remain before the courts.

As investigations continue, police have released an image of a fourth man, who they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.

The man depicted is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his early 20s, with short brown hair and was wearing a grey hoodie, dark shorts and blue sneakers.
