Renewed appeal to locate man missing from CBD

Police are renewing an appeal for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Sydney CBD.

Hongli Qi, aged 28, was last seen by family at Sydney's Town Hall, about 1pm Wednesday (11 May 2022).

Following inquiries, police have sourced CCTV of Hongli leaving an apartment on Macquarie Street, Sydney, about 6pm that day.

Police hold concerns for his welfare as this behaviour is considered out of character.

Hongli is described as being of Asian appearance, 170cm-175cm tall, with a heavy build, short dark hair and dark eyes. It's not known what he was wearing at the time.
